a stay with some downsides

the staff were friendly at the front desk. the rooftop bar has great views. parking was easy because of help from staff at the garage.
the hotel seems to be short staffed which affected service. the cleanliness could be improved as i saw stains on the carpet. the smell of fried grease from the rooftop bar's kitchen impacted the atmosphere.

i loved that i could walk easily to beale street. the rooftop bar was a highlight (ellie made amazing drinks!). chef rhumbi's wings and fries were simple, but delicious. i caught an amazing sunset there.
the staff's customer relationship skills were not the best.

the hotel is a short walk to popular attractions. there is parking available in the building across the street for a fee. this made accessing local destinations quite simple and stress-free.

the staff quickly handled all requests, especially deaderick fleming, the bellman, helped with parking and directions. the staff provided insightful recommendations for local points of interest, quite valuable.

the rooftop bar offers excellent city views. there is also a large gym available for guest use across the street from the hotel (it is a definite plus!).

The breakfast was not great. The jug to boil water for tea was not plugged in. The water dispenser was empty, and no cream was available for the waffles. The food was lukewarm. bordering on cold. The breakfast person seemed grumpy.

i was very happy with the easy check-in and check-out process. the staff was very friendly and helpful . the rooftop bar offered wonderful views, especially during happy hour.
The bathroom lacked a bin. I found that inconvenient.
